Matthias Winkler / painter
Matthias Winkler, born in 1966, is living in a former cinema in Münsingen near Berne. After a training as a educator, he took classes at the artschool “Schule für Gestaltung, Bern”. Since 1991 he is working as a independet artist exposing his works in Thun, Berne, Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Essen, Munich, Berlin, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Lissabon and New York. His art is lively, refreshing and colorful. As a creator and innovator within the ZusammenSpiel, he translates fact content into visual concepts, performing live both on canvas and on a special kind of a camera table allowing to beam his painting on any size of screen. His works are also known from his designs for the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2001 and for Swiss watchmaker Swatch.
Daniel Küffer - musician and composer
Daniel Küffer was born in 1966 into a family dedicated to music. In 1993 he graduated from the Swiss Jazz School in Berne with merits. Soon after he gained major reputation as a soloist, composer and band leader releasing six personal CDs and performing on more than 200 recording sessions. Since 2001 he has been working with Swiss harp virtuoso Andreas Vollenweider and other international acts. His composing and sax playing are dedicated to rhythmic and melodic precision however deeply rooted in a deep emotion and intuition.
For each individual ZusammenSpiel project, the team of Matthias Winkler and Daniel Küffer is being expanded: further musicians such as the wonderful harpist Désirée Dell’Amore, presenters, actors, writers, comedians, workshop coaches.
